My Teen Queen, Heather, and I traveled to Gramercy for the St. James Parish Relay for Life Pageant. The pageant is a fundraiser for St. James Parish's Relay for Life, and the Queens are charged with raising money during their reign. We arrived a little late, but that's okay! Each contestant in each division competed on stage. They were all beautiful. Then the Visiting Queens were asked to introduce themselves. The reigning Queens gave very emotional farewell speeches. They truly had an amazing year. The Junior Queen, a cute little girl, was crowned first. Then the Mrs. Queen was crowned. The Miss division was crowned third. And finally the Teen division, with the most contestants, was crowned. It was a great pageant for a wonderful cause!
