A Shuckin' Good Time

I traveled with my Teen Queen, Heather, to Amite for the Amite Oyster Pageant. The pageant was unlike any I had ever been to because every Oyster Queen, including the very young girls, compete on the same night. That made it very interesting! Each division had a huge turnout of the cutest, and later, the most beautiful girls. There was definitely some tough competition. The Miss division had five gorgeous young ladies. They even had to answer an on-stage question. Each contestant did a wonderful job of answering, which made the competition even tougher. When it was finally time to crown a Queen, the audience was nervous with anticipation. The new Queen is a beautiful and intelligent young lady who will represent the Amite Oyster Festival well. Congratulations!
