On Tuesday, October 8, my Teen Queen, Heather, and I were honored by Parish President Natalie Robottom at the St. John Parish Council Meeting. We were congratulated by each of the Council members, as well as the Parish President, and each of us was presented with a key to the parish. We also helped unveil the 40th Andouille Festival print. It was a bittersweet night because both of us truly cherished the memories we made as Andouille Queens, but we also knew that our time as Queens was quickly coming to an end.
