On Saturday, August 10, my Teen Queen, Heather, and I attended the St. John Parish Sugar Pageant in Reserve. The pageant's theme was "Sugar in the City." It was so glamorous! The entertainment included glitzy dance numbers, Broadway song performances, and the one and only Formal Connection fashion show. The contestants were absolutely beautiful. When crowning time finally came, there was so much anticipation. Ashleigh Keller was crowned St. John Parish Sugar Queen! She will represent St. John Parish at the Louisiana Sugar Pageant. Congratulations to her and the other contestants!
